The history of our growth tea
Our tea grows in Georgia, in the region of Guria. The altitude of our plantations is approximately 300-450 meters above sea level.
The climate and the number of sunny days a year allow the tea leaves to gain strength and beneficial properties. These is also a mountain river in our area, which creates natural humidification, significantly increasing the quality of MEGOBARI tea.

Black tea (Red)
Georgian Megobari black tea (black tea) is a classic organic black tea harvested for friends in Georgia.
Since we only use hand-harvesting and processing leading to quality raw material - only 2-3 leaves are used for preparation.
Tea is collected and prepared in the best tea region of Georgia - Guria.
Taste: the bouquet of ready-made tea is thin, warm, bright and saturated. Velvety aftertaste and mild tonic effect
Color: has a reddish hue after brewing
Preparation method: recommended - ceremonial, drunk in pours, reveals itself most vividly on the second-third pour
Green tea
In Soviet times, Georgian green tea gained its popularity due to its good cleansing properties as well as its ability to boost the immune system. This tea will be a revelation for fans of green tea. This kind of tea is considered to be the drink of longevity.
Fresh green tea has several advantages:

Color: should be vvibrant. Its emerald green color means it was carefully stored and transported without contact with oxygen and sunlight, which means it retains all its properties.
Preparation method: The ideal vessel for brewing delicate green teas is the Chinese traditional gaiwan, a bowl on a saucer with a lid. About 1 tablespoon of tea is taken per small, preheated gaiwan. The first 3 infusions take 2-3 seconds. The time can be increased to 10 seconds for the next brews.

Prices for Georgian tea
Black (red) tea, hand-picked. Hand-picked from plantations in the Nagomari village of Guria and processed according to standards. It is harvested in 2-3 leaves in summer, after processing it contains broken leaves, thanks to which the tea is quickle brewed. The taste and aroma are reminiscent of the famous "Georgian Extra" in Soviet times, but more multifaceted and rich, with sweet honey and floral notes.
Green tea, hand-picked. This tea is hand-picked from organic plantations of Guria in the village of Nagomari and processed according to the standards of the Association of Organic Tea Producers of Georgia. Ideal for green tea lovers, especially in the summer. It is harvested in 2-3 leaves in the spring and very early summer. Tea has an aroma of freshly cut grass and a rich flavor with floral and minty notes, with a soft sweetness at the end. Brewed with water not hotter than 70C.
White tea (buds), hand-picked. Tea is hand-picked once a year from our organic plantation in the village of Nagomari, Georgia. This tea has a unique taste and chemical composition. It is produced using a unique technology, dried in the sun, which allows to preserve the maximum amount of pigments in the leaf. Only the buds are used for preparation.
White tea (buds+very young tea leaves), hand-picked. This tea is hand-picked once a year from our organic plantation in the village of Nagomari, Georgia. The tea has a unique flavor and chemical composition. It is produced using a unique technology, dried in the sun, which allows to preserve the maximum amount of pigments in the leaf. A bud and 1-2 leaves are used for preparation.
Black roasted tea, hand-picked. Harvested by hand from plantations in the Nagomari village, Guria. It is harvested in 2-3 leaves in summer. The taste and aroma are reminiscent of the famous in Soviet times "Georgian Extra", but more multifaceted and rich, with sweet honey and floral notes. The tea goes through a long process of brewing and roasting, which gives it a very interesting and rich taste.
Bilberry leaf tea (using black tea technology). Bilberry tea is an exclusive product from the leaves of high-mountain wild Caucasian blueberries, collected in the mountains "Bakhmaro". It is made according to the technology of black tea, by twisting and fermentation. The tea contains a large amount of vitamin C, so the infusion has a unique taste and aroma with lemon tones. The tea does not contain caffeine.
Oolong in assortment (slightly-fermented, medium-fermented). This tea is harvested from our organic plantation in the village of Nagomari, Georgia, in 2-3 leaves. The tea is prepared according to the technology of Oolong, between red and green tea. It has a rich, multifaceted flavor with floral and nutty-sweet notes.

Black tea by GABA technology. Organic raw material is used. The tea is fermented without oxygen and contains gamma - amino butyric acid (GABA), which has a number of beneficial effects on the human body, especially on the nervous system.
